NEWS FLASH
AI job boom: High salaries, but a skills gap. Big tech layoffs? Sure—but AI roles are booming. Applications for AI jobs jumped 28% this year, yet less than 1 in 4 job seekers feel ready for the new technical and soft skill demands of these roles, according to iCIMS Research. While high-paying AI positions offer huge opportunities, experts warn that rapid growth may outpace available talent and backfire if you’re unprepared. The takeaway? Upskill now to stay ahead.
AI is helping (and hurting) your job search. AI can boost your application—but it might also cost you one. Around 75% of candidates are using AI tools like ChatGPT to polish their resumes and cover letters, sometimes landing higher-paying offers. Yet nearly 1 in 4 hiring managers say they’d reject a resume if they suspect it was AI-generated, according to Forbes. The takeaway? Use AI as a tool, not a crutch, and let your authentic self shine.

BIG THINK
Eggs, Bird Flu, and AI in Poultry Production

Have you noticed your egg bill skyrocketing lately? $10 for 12 eggs here in Brooklyn! According to NBC News, a recent bird flu outbreak has slammed commercial chicken farms, slashing egg supplies and sending prices soaring. In the midst of this chaos, many consumers are taking matters into their own hands—quite literally—by setting up backyard coops. Not only does this provide fresher eggs, but it’s also sparking a side hustle opportunity for those with an interest.
But the disruption goes deeper than just egg prices. A study published in MDPI’s Agriculture journal showcases how advanced AI systems, powered by models like YOLOv8, are revolutionizing poultry management. These cutting-edge tools monitor flocks in real time, detecting subtle signs of disease and optimizing feeding strategies to boost efficiency. In large-scale operations, this means fewer losses and a more sustainable, data-driven approach to production.
So why does this matter? It’s a clear signal that when traditional systems falter, innovation steps in. The convergence of AI with poultry farming isn’t just about high-tech solutions on sprawling farms—it’s also opening up fresh opportunities for the everyday person. Whether you’re drawn to the idea of a lucrative backyard venture or simply curious about how digital tools are reshaping our food systems, these developments mark a turning point in agriculture and farming.
In short, while bird flu is challenging commercial producers, it’s also igniting a digital revolution that benefits everyone—from mega-farms to your own backyard. If you love eggs and have a backyard..strike while the iron is hot!

EVERYONE’S THINKING IT
To Cover Letter or Not…
Be honest—when’s the last time you poured real effort into a cover letter? With AI-driven hiring processes and recruiters skimming countless applications, the question arises: Are cover letters still relevant?
Opinions are split. In “The Great Cover Letter Debate”, a LinkedIn poll found 44% of respondents believe cover letters are dead, while 43% say they’re still essential. But here’s the thing—when they are read, a solid cover letter statistically sets you apart.
How to write a cover letter fast using AI
If a job requires a cover letter (or you want an edge), here’s how to quickly create one with an LLM like ChatGPT:
Give it context: Paste the job description and your resume into the LLM and ask for a tailored draft.
Make it human: AI can be stiff—add a personal touch and enthusiasm so it sounds like you.
Keep it short: 3 paragraphs max. Quick intro, a highlight of your fit, and a confident closing.
Scan for clichés: Edit out generic lines like “I’m a hard worker” and replace them with real examples.
Double-check AI facts: Ensure the letter doesn’t include made-up details or over-the-top fluff. Remember AI can hallucinate!
Cover letters might not be entirely dead, but things are definitely shifting. If you need to write one, at least now you can do it in minutes instead of hours. 🚀

The 7-Part Blueprint to a Fulfilling Career
If you think getting that next great job or business breakthrough will be the thing that fulfills you, you’re wrong.
Two key things you need to understand up front — this is not only Jeremy speaking, this is wisdom from the wealthy and non-wealthy that found greater fulfillment (1, 2, 3, 4, 5). Quick aside: if you want a wake-up call about material possessions and happiness, go to a third world country and see if you find happy people there.
Money / external rewards will plague you if they become your priority. Don’t love money. Don’t love things.
Results overflow from the heart. If you earnestly do things out of curiosity and love - like a child - you’ll get so good at something people will pay you a lot to do that thing, if you want them to.
Keep those two things in mind as we go on this 7-part exploration together — Take a breath and step away from the rat race with me. Let’s slow down, get real, and see where this deeper look at life can take us—you won’t want to miss it.This 7-part blueprint is meant to help you unlock the personal confidence and energy that leads to fulfillment at work, naturally spilling over into every part of your life. If you’re like me, no one ever took the time to guide you in discovering your true uniqueness, what genuinely brings you joy and energy, and which direction you should pursue—especially in your career.
Who am I?
What am I doing with my life?
What do I have to offer the world?
Have you ever felt certain you had all the answers—only to realize ehh, maybe not? Maybe, like me, you never even asked these deeper questions until recently…like right now 🤦.
You’re not alone! Many people think they “know themselves” simply by bundling all their likes, dislikes, goals, and habits—as if they capture your essence. I’ve found this to result in a comically big misunderstanding of self.
Truly knowing yourself goes much deeper. It means asking big questions, digging beneath the surface, and uncovering the real substance of your identity and purpose. Imagine waking up each day with the joy and confidence of knowing exactly who you are and the direction you’ve committed to. I promise you are 100% unique—and that’s a truly beautiful thing to offer the world, lean into it.
In this series, we’ll explore how genuine self-knowledge sets the foundation for you to shape your life, build lasting confidence, and make wise, time-conscious choices that lead to greater career fulfillment. Curious to do some discovering together? Let’s go 🎬
Part 1: The Misconception of Self-Knowledge. Have you ever made a decision you thought was “so you”, only to regret it later? Or felt pulled in different directions by friends, family, and society’s expectations of you? These are strong signs that you’re building your life on sand (shifty stuff) rather than on a solid foundation of true self-knowledge and confident identity. Major risk alert here - if we keep going down this path, it leads to something I’ve decided just now to call the cyclical setback.
And that’s all the time we have...😅. Seriously though, I’m trying to keep these to about 500 words per newsletter. Think about those questions ^^ ahead of next issue. We’ll do a full dive into Part 1 together. See you in the next issue! 🙌

FOR NO REASON
Napoleon was once reportedly attacked by a horde of bunnies. During a rabbit hunt, the emperor’s men accidentally released tame rabbits instead of wild ones. The bunnies, associating humans with food, swarmed Napoleon, forcing him to retreat.
