👋Welcome! Artemis II was a milestone but not the destination. Today we approach what comes next, from lunar landings to long-term presence, and how space is shifting from exploration to building. Read on!

AI & TECH

🤖 Amazon AI Slashes Drug Discovery Time
AWS is revolutionizing medicine with a new tool that turns months of research into just a few weeks. The Amazon Bio Discovery platform allows scientists to filter through a myriad of antibody candidates using forty specialized AI models. By removing the need for deep technical expertise the tool helps researchers identify the best possible results for lab testing at lightning speed.

🤖 LaLiga Uses AI To Skewer Pirate Streams
Spanish soccer is launching a high-tech war against illegal streaming to save nearly 800M dollars in lost revenue. LaLiga is deploying real-time AI to detect and "skewer" unauthorized broadcasts of stars as they happen. Unlike old methods that accidentally blocked legitimate sites this new system uses precision signals to kill pirate links in seconds.

🤖 Intel And Google Lock In Massive Xeon Chip Deal
Intel and Google have signed a multi-year agreement to keep Xeon processors at the heart of Google Cloud’s global infrastructure. This major partnership ensures that Google will continue using future generations of Intel’s chips for everything from large-scale AI training coordination to general-purpose computing.

🤖 The Great Hardware Arms Race For Creators
While smartphones are the gateway to content creation, their physical limits are sparking a billion-dollar spending spree. Report shows that as AI makes editing and production lightning-fast, the "penalty" for poor raw footage becomes more obvious. This is driving a global population of 246m creators to look beyond their phones toward professional gear to stand out from the competition.

CAREER & GROWTH

📌 Why Corporate AI Talk Terrifies Workers
Business leaders are accidentally fueling a workplace crisis by talking about AI as a tool for "cost savings" and "efficiency." To employees, those terms are corporate code for layoffs and headcount reduction. Experts warn that when companies focus solely on doing more with less, workers enter survival mode rather than learning mode.

📌 Duolingo Scraps Forced AI Usage Rules
Duolingo is backing away from its aggressive AI-first policy after intense internal pushback. CEO admitted that trying to factor AI usage into performance reviews was a mistake that caused mass confusion among staff. Employees felt they were being judged on tool usage rather than actual work quality. The company has now pivoted to a more pragmatic approach.

📌 The Simple Hack For Better AI Answers
To get an honest response from an AI agent you need to stop stating opinions and start asking questions. Researchers found that simply telling a chatbot "don't agree with me" does not work. Instead you should use a clever reframing trick: ask the AI to rewrite your input as a question before it answers. This small change in tone forces the bot to break out of its helpful "people-pleaser" mode.

BIG THINK
After Artemis II: What Comes Next in Space

The success of Artemis II feels like a return, but it is really a beginning. For the first time in more than half a century, humans have traveled around the Moon and come back safely. The mission proved something essential. Not just that we can go back, but that we can start building a system to stay.

What comes next is less symbolic and more demanding. Artemis II was a test. The next missions will be about execution. NASA is now moving toward Artemis III, where the goal is no longer orbit, but landing. That step depends on something entirely new. Commercial lunar landers built by companies like SpaceX and Blue Origin, which still need to prove they can safely carry humans to the surface and back.

This shift changes the nature of the program. It is no longer just a government-led effort. It is a shared system between public agencies and private companies. That introduces speed and innovation, but also uncertainty. Unlike the Apollo era, where everything was centralized, this version depends on coordination across multiple players, each developing critical pieces of the mission at the same time.

Beyond the landing itself, the longer horizon is even more ambitious. Plans already point toward Artemis IV and V, which aim not just to visit the Moon, but to establish a sustained presence, including infrastructure in orbit and eventually on the surface. The goal is no longer a single achievement, but continuity. A base, a system, something that remains.

And that may be the real shift to expect. Artemis II was about proving we can return. What follows is about deciding what we do once we do. Exploration is giving way to presence. And for the first time, space is starting to look less like a destination, and more like a place we are preparing to stay.

NOW WHAT?

  1. Track timelines with flexibility: Delays are likely as new technologies are tested in real conditions

  2. Look at downstream impact: Advances in lunar missions will influence energy, materials, and global tech ecosystems
